what is a “four point bathroom”?

I see this in a hotel (Atlantis Hotel Dubai) description of a room… I googled it but no hope…

Can anyone reccomens good websites to book tickets onlne to dubai at a reasonable price and is it a good idea to book the hotel from here or should we book when we get there has anyone been to the Atlantis Hotel is it really worth the price?

mine happened to be yesterday!

it was my 17th birthday and i had so much planned out to make it a great day for me and my family! We booked a night in the Atlantis hotel in Dubai.

it turned out a complete disaster! =(

at first it was fine n we all had fun.

but then problems started one at a time..

the club at the hotel i really wanted to go to i couldnt because of my annoying sister!

well i was pretty much not able to go anywhere because of her! >=(

the massage i am finaly old enough to have wasnt satisfying and i felt like i was being molested rather than massaged =s

my grandmother died and my dad had to fly back to lebanon immediatly and leave us =(

he took the laptop with him so i couldnt watch House =’(

and finaly, to make things perfect, on the way out we got robbed of all the money we brought with us!!!
my mum had a huge fight with the hotel people (dad was in beirut) then the police came over and solved everything after 5 hourse of sitting doing nothing while my mum argues with the ppl…

i didnt even get cake! =’(

but the gd news is mum promised me a huge party in beirut when we get back =]

Off to Dubai on 2-Oct, any recommendations?

Hi all,

I’ve just booked 10 days in Dubai with my missus and our 18 month old daughter. We’re staying with my aunt and uncle, who’ve very kindly said that they’ll baby-sit a few nights so that we’re not tied to the apartment after baby’s gone to bed!

I’ve had a look at the various info websites and I’m sure we’ll visit the Atlantis/Aquaventure and Wild Wadi waterparks, and I’d like to see that amazing hotel shaped like a sail (the Al Burj is it?).

Anyone got any other tips/suggestions as to other ‘must see’ things while we’re there?

Personal experiences please… I’m quite capable of googling Dubai and perusing the various info sites!
