Why should so many innocent people loose their lives just because a bunch of loonies think the rich people have taken their right I mean true that there are many rich people in Dubai’s 7 star hotels but why should they die if they are rich? Meanwhile you cant say everyone is rich in here I mean look at all those poor workers sweating their life out at 50 degree Celsius at Summer…. Terrorist attacks can happen anywhere in the world but I hope they wont happen any more any where

Hello. I’ve heard that there is a 7 star hotel in Dubai and that the water fountain itself costs 1 million dollars… What is that hotel called? Also heard that they are making an underwater hotel and theyre making theyre own island???? Information on that would be nice too… Please and thank you =) Peace on Earth =)

lebanon category: what was YOUR worst birthday!?

mine happened to be yesterday!

it was my 17th birthday and i had so much planned out to make it a great day for me and my family! We booked a night in the Atlantis hotel in Dubai.

it turned out a complete disaster! =(

at first it was fine n we all had fun.

but then problems started one at a time..

the club at the hotel i really wanted to go to i couldnt because of my annoying sister!

well i was pretty much not able to go anywhere because of her! >=(

the massage i am finaly old enough to have wasnt satisfying and i felt like i was being molested rather than massaged =s

my grandmother died and my dad had to fly back to lebanon immediatly and leave us =(

he took the laptop with him so i couldnt watch House =’(

and finaly, to make things perfect, on the way out we got robbed of all the money we brought with us!!!
my mum had a huge fight with the hotel people (dad was in beirut) then the police came over and solved everything after 5 hourse of sitting doing nothing while my mum argues with the ppl…

i didnt even get cake! =’(

but the gd news is mum promised me a huge party in beirut when we get back =]

Off to Dubai on 2-Oct, any recommendations?

Hi all,

I’ve just booked 10 days in Dubai with my missus and our 18 month old daughter. We’re staying with my aunt and uncle, who’ve very kindly said that they’ll baby-sit a few nights so that we’re not tied to the apartment after baby’s gone to bed!

I’ve had a look at the various info websites and I’m sure we’ll visit the Atlantis/Aquaventure and Wild Wadi waterparks, and I’d like to see that amazing hotel shaped like a sail (the Al Burj is it?).

Anyone got any other tips/suggestions as to other ‘must see’ things while we’re there?

Personal experiences please… I’m quite capable of googling Dubai and perusing the various info sites! :-)

Also when I do not use the monorail, I assume you just buy a ticket and get on it. At least that’s what people usualy do going on a train.

Honeymoon Hotel in Dubai. Atlantis Palm. Good Choice or Should I choose another Hotel?

I am going to Dubai for honeymoon. Is two weeks too long? Also thinking of staying at Atlantis.. Any hotel or resort suggestions?

Atlantis is a wonder in itself. But if you look at it like——being soo far away-in fact,out of Dubai- from all the hustle and bustle of city,it will take a lot of time going places.

If you can afford Atlantis,riding taxis should be no problem but keep in mind,there’s no public transport available up to there.

I would recommend you stay in some other hotel on Sheikh Zaid Road for 7-8 days.From there you can find Metro and buses to almost all parts of the city.Do all the sight seeing,safari etc…and move to Atlantis for last few days to relax.Enjoy beaches around and have spas and get refresh before going back.

So I’m 15 years old, and I’m just wondering about the Club Rush in the Atlantis Palm Hotel in Dubai… do you know anything about it?? If I DO go, I’ll be on my own, so I’m wondering, will it be a good place for me to make friends?

If its the teen club then you might find friends but preferably its better if u go with a friend or two. Its a good place for those who arent legal to go to the actual clubs.
